Based in Milan was born in 1971, son of Armando - founder of the Pentaphoto agency which has been specialising in sporting and advertising photography for the last 35 years. In his twenty years of experience with Associated Press and Pentaphoto he has recorded the world's most important sporting events, including nine Olympics (he was the youngest photographer commissioned at Albertville in 1992), every Ski World Cup since 1992, the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and many other global events in other sporting disciplines, publishing in the world's most popular daily newspapers and magazines. In the advertising photography sphere, he has conducted advertising campaigns for the most prestigious international brands. He works alongside the major advertising agencies.
He has won photography awards, including at the GrandPrix della pubblicità (prestigious advertising awards) in 2008: "Migliore Campagna Sport" (Best Sport Campaign), and in 2012 and 2014 he won the Ussi award for "best sporting photo of the year" by immortalising the start of the triathlon at London 2012 and the Giro d'Italia 2014.
He has staged many exhibitions including PHOTOLUX in Lucca, CANON FOTOGRAFICA 12 and PHOTO SHOW 13 in Milan and Rome.
From 2013 is member of Canon Ambassador/Explorer program.
